Hi visitor,
Puppy Falucio X Gina 4 weeks
and welcome to our dogo corner on the net.
Since you are here we would like to take the opportunity to introduce ourselves to people who are looking for or are interested in the Dogo-Argentino.(Argentine Dog)
As we started by going to a dog exhibition, we encountered a Dogo-Argentino overthere. Dogo-Argentino ???? never heard before .... So we asked information about the breed and the character of the dog's. We decided to buy a puppy ( Bandit ).
After some time we got more and more involved with the Dogo-Argentino so we decided to get a kennel name and to buy a male.
We named our kennel ( Del Grande Casador Branco ) which we thought was a nice name with a Spanish ring to it.
Dogo argentino Kennel:" Del Grande Casador Branco"
We decided to obtain a male from a good bloodline and of excellent type to establish a good basis for breeding.
Shortly after that we found out the the worldshow was in Brussels that year.
So we went to Brussels to find ourselves a nice dogo... Arriving at the worldshow and walking over the exhibition we found a very beautiful male named Huaino de el Tumi, who, later that day became world-champion (1995), we very much wanted a male pup from this dog! The breeder, Dhr. Luis Milla de La Cruz, also told us Huaino was youth world-champion in 1993 .
We established contact with the breeder/owner and planned a trip to Argentine to watch the Dogo in it's country of origin. ( See Travel report for more details !!)
We bought two son's of Huaino, named Huambo and Ocari de el Tumi. At that time they were both 4 month's old. When both dogs reached 9 month's we took them as competitors to exhibitions.
After many national and international exhibitons ( b.t.w. very succesfull ) we have let the dogs been x-rayed for sign's of HD and examined by the Dutch breed Association N.M.M.C, securing a good basis for breeding.
We strive for beautiful , healthy and balanced Dogo's .
Our goal in breeding is, improvement of the breed and conservation of type .
Our puppy's grow up amongst children and we make sure the pups are socialized before they leave and therefore have the best possible start in life.
By now we have 15 dogo's from different Argentinian and Spanish bloodlines, f.e. ( la Vieja Diana, Audacity, De Chibouk, de Litoral, El Tumi, Ackon Cahuak, ), some of the best bloodlines around.
Owners: Frank & Anne-Louise Proenings, who started out with dogos from our kennel.
For more information on the Dogo Argentino you can always contact us via the contact page.
